When the new drive is bigger it's easy!Use Clonezilla to copy the old drive to the new one, then boot into Windows and expand the partition. There should be no problems with Windows or apps.

Should be no issues. Cloning is cloning. Just pick your favorite program. For cloning, almost all software has a free version for this.
